$20 per 30 minute lesson,

$28 for 45 minutes,

$35 per hour for two or more students in the same household.

    Welcome! I am Albuquerque piano teacher Karen Williams. I teach beginning and intermediate piano students, taking them up to the level they choose. First and foremost, learning the piano and music should always be fun! Aside from providing stress-free lessons, encouragement is given every step of the way.     In order to learn effectively and to practice efficiently, the lessons I give teach students to play music by sight, apply theory, and understand music that is heard. Through this comprehensive method, each student progresses with an understanding of music as well as the ability to play the piano.

    Lessons are provided in your home and any difficulties in practice are easily addressed and resolved. Positive new experiences with the various components of music lead to steady progress that can be heard by the listener and felt by the student!
